The client came with a concept of creating a boarding house for millennials that incorporates three main aspects of their daily life: live, work and create. Driven by these three components, we are inspired to design a compact but flexible living space to support various functions. The configuration of the bed can double as sofa for friends to come over to collaborate, long study desk for work, open wardrobe to allow personalisation of storage and a pegboard to encourage users to express their ideas or display their creations. Bold yellow accent and graphics are incorporated along the corridors as means of way finding as well as to create positive vibes.
